  • Train inspectors on established VMM and CMM programs, as well as programming within In Spec software.
  • Create Non-Conforming Material Reports for discrepant parts and support ongoing process/procedure documentation updates.
  • Assist with inspection equipment maintenance and other quality-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of programming experience with VMM and CMM software.

  • Experience using inspection software to export and report inspection data.
  • Proficiency with precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, and related hand tools.
  • Ability to write efficient CMM and VMM programs with limited direction and within production timelines.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.
  • General proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with inspectors, quality control personnel, engineers, and production teams.

Preferred qualifications include an associate degree in electronics, engineering, metrology, or a related field; Certified Quality Inspector designation; formal metrology training; and 7+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
