The Electrical Products Group was recently purchased from Avail Infrastructure Solutions by nVent Electric plc ("nVent") and consists of three business units, Enclosure Systems, Switchgear Systems and Bus Systems. As a part of nVent, theElectrical Products Group is a leading provider of infrastructure solutions, designed to help ensure safe and reliable electrical operations primarily in the infrastructure vertical, including power utilities and data centers.

What you will experience in this position :

At nVent Management Company, you will be part of an ambitious team committed to delivering world-class solutions. As a Quality Control Technician in our Houston, TX manufacturing facility, you will play a crucial role in ensuring flawless execution and top-tier quality standards.

Please note that this role will be based at our Houston facility, located at 6100 Ramona Blvd, Houston, TX 77086

You will :

• Inspect customer-supplied materials to ensure compliance with legends and drawings.
• Coordinate production checkpoints to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Record job progression and verify the use of accurate materials.
• Conduct final inspections to confirm all job specifications are met.
• Ensure all procedures have been followed and materials are accurately packed and identified for shipment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all inspection activities.
• Collaborate with shop supervisors and engineering departments to resolve quality issues and determine corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement programs and assist in updating quality procedures and work instructions.
