    • Lead cross-functional teams in resolving recurring manufacturing and supplier quality issues.

    • Verify corrective actions are implemented and sustained.

  • Manufacturing Quality

    • Partner with Operations and Manufacturing Engineering to improve process capability and eliminate defects.

    • Ensure appropriate inspection and process controls are in place.

    • Support new product introductions, process changes, and production transfers from a quality perspective.

    • Review and approve deviations, rework, and nonconforming material dispositions within established authority.

    • Ensure nonconforming product is properly identified, contained, documented, and dispositioned.

  • Customer & Supplier Quality

    • Support investigation and resolution of customer complaints and quality escapes.

    • Partner with Supplier Quality and Materials teams to address supplier-related quality issues.

    • Drive supplier containment and corrective action when supplier defects impact production.

    • Participate in customer and supplier quality reviews as required.

  • Continuous Improvement

    • Lead quality improvement projects that improve FPY, reduce scrap and rework, eliminate defects, and reduce COPQ.

    • Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to improve manufacturing processes.

    • Identify opportunities to mistake-proof processes and strengthen process controls.

    • Ensure lessons learned are incorporated into standard work and quality systems.

  • Compliance & Systems

    • Ensure manufacturing activities comply with applicable Carrier quality systems, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

    • Support internal, external, customer, and regulatory audits.

    • Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.

    • Ensure employees are appropriately trained in quality requirements and standard work.
