Quality Engineer / Inspector
Are you a skilled Quality Inspector/Engineer looking for a hands-on role with long-term career prospects? Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team, with the potential to progress into a Chief Inspector role over time!
Required Experience:
✅ Engineering Measurements: Ability to measure components using height gauges and other precision tools
✅ Technical Reading: Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and customer standards
✅ Quality Control: Experience sorting and logging shopfloor and foundry rejects, using a reject system to generate paperwork
✅ Supplier Liaison: Comfortable emailing foundries with reject details, including images and date codes
✅ Mathematical Skills: Strong understanding of trigonometry, angles, and square roots
✅ Inspection Tools: Proficient in using plug gauges, thread gauges, electronic gauging, and other measuring equipment
✅ Calibration (Preferred): Experience in calibration is beneficial, but training can be provided
