As a Quality Control Manager (QCM) at Absher, you'll be responsible for implementing and overseeing a comprehensive project-specific quality control program. This includes managing compliance from notice of award through final completion across all scopes of work. You'll be a key team member ensuring that every project meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance especially on complex, government, or infrastructure projects.

What You'll Do

• Lead the execution of project-specific QC programs covering all work divisions
• Identify and resolve quality concerns early in coordination with the project team
• Prepare QC Plans, including inspection checklists, testing requirements, and Definable Features of Work (DFOWs)
• Oversee QA / QC efforts of subcontractors and third-party inspection teams
• Participate in site meetings such as commissioning, 3D coordination, and pull planning sessions
• Support and mentor project team members in executing QC-related tasks
• Engage directly with owners, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to uphold quality standards
• Manage RFIs, submittals, procurement tracking, and documentation compliance
• May temporarily supplement the roles of Project Superintendent or Project Manager
• Participate in site safety audits, orientations, and investigations as needed

Physical Demands

This job may be performed in the office or on the jobsite and requires frequent sitting (often working on a computer), frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching. Heavy lifting may be needed; the employee should be able to lift items up to 40lbs. Due to computer usage, there may be repetitive motions of the hands and wrists. He / she must be able to navigate the jobsite and is expected to be able to comply with all safety regulations in the office and on the jobsite.

Salary offers are typically made between the entry and midpoint of the range and are based on factors such as experience, education, and internal equity.
