Job Description

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Lead marketing strategy across all service lines
  • Develop campaigns for screenings, preventions and growth initiatives
  • Track referral trends
  • Manage vendor, media, advertising, website, social media, and digital campaigns
  • Coordinate communication across clinical and specialty service lines
  • Manage physician liaison outreach and referral relationships
  • Coordinate provider visits, tours, and engagement activities
  • Collaborate with physicians, APP's, executives, and operational leaders
  • Lead community outreach, sponsorships, and external partnerships
  • Coordinate internal events (UCBC Cares, Survivorship Picnic, Open House, Employee Appreciation)
  • Represent organization at community, chamber, and healthcare events

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or communications or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years' experience in marketing, media and public relations or related field
  • Experience with traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media.
  • Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Design software skills such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Acrobat.
  • Experience in healthcare preferred

  • Demonstrates flexibility and supports changes that improve quality of care, service and operations
  • Demonstrates flexibility in work assignments and hours within the department
  • Stays current and is responsive with email communication with internal and external.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to be work independently and establish priorities with flexibility and collaboration with others.
  • Ability to work well under stressful circumstances, and to handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Superb accuracy and attention to detail
  • Maintains consistent attendance and reports to work on-time
  • Attends required meetings as scheduled

Physical Demands and Working Conditions of Job:

Requires sitting, standing, walking, some bending, stooping, and stretching to include lifting up to 25 pounds; Potential for exposure to communicable illness from contagious patients; Extensive computer work, including viewing computer screens for long periods of time.
