Job description

Job Title: Quality Technician

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Duration: 12 months


Pay Rate: $25/hr


Job Description:

  • The Quality Technician will support Client manufactured test equipment. Specific duties include: mechanical measurement of precision milled and turned sub-miniature high frequency electronic parts to ensure functionality and accuracy.
  • The candidate will be responsible for direct application of technical skills.
  • Working within the designated area of expertise, the candidate will clarify, analyze, develop, and implement actions and solutions while supporting Client technicians and Process Engineers.

Requirements:

  • This position requires some education, and/or specialized training/certification
  • Must have Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) background, and be able to read blueprints.
  • Must have understanding of mechanical metrology hand tool usage.
  • Experience using automated software platforms is a plus. Strong PC (MS Windows/Office) skills are a must.
  • Requires excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates electronic and mechanical competence.
  • Works with clearly defined objectives.
  • Solves technical problems of limited scope and complexity.
  • Exhibits the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with wide range of people.
  • Adheres to the highest standards of business ethics.
  • Provides consistent, solid contribution to team delivery goals.
  • Exercises good discretion in the use of time and other Client resources.
  • Maintains high workmanship standards and delivers on commitments.
  • Adheres to established processes and is responsible for achieving established team goals.

Preferences:

  • Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine and Optical Surface Profilers preferred.
  • 3D modeling knowledge with NX, Solidworks, or other software.
