Job Summary
ABOUT THE JOB
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Quality Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with the Quality Control Supervisor to conduct essential testing and inspections, playing a key role in maintaining the quality that Cemex is known for.
Job Responsibilities
WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO
As a Quality Control Technician at Cemex, your daily responsibilities will include :
- Safety and Compliance : Adhere to Cemex, OSHA, and MSHA regulations, including wearing required safety equipment and maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
- Quality Assurance : Verify product quality against established control specifications to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Testing and Analysis : Conduct ACI testing in Ready Mix plants and ASTM / AASHTO testing in Cement plants, following specification sheets and reporting findings to supervisors.
- Material Testing : Perform testing on pit material, military base jobs, raw material, finished products, and product intermediaries.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate records of tests, inspections, and any deviations, ensuring that all quality control documentation is up-to-date.
- Support and Maintenance : Assist with clean-up activities and perform additional tasks as assigned by management to support plant operations.
