  • Solicit, review, and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with project specifications.
  • Coordinate bid-related communications, including distribution of plans, specifications, and addenda to vendors and subcontractors.
  • Prepare bid proposals, pricing breakdowns, unit costs, clarifications, inclusions, and exclusions.
  • Assist with preparation of final bid packages and customer submissions.
  • Participate in scope review meetings and maintain detailed meeting documentation.
  • Follow up with general contractors and customers regarding bid submissions and proposal feedback.
  • Support senior estimating staff with project pricing, budgeting, and proposal development.
  • Utilize Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, Word, and other estimating software tools to prepare accurate estimates and reports.
  • Meet all proposal deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Minimum two (2) years of estimating, sales, or preconstruction experience, preferably within the construction industry.

  • Knowledge of Kawneer storefront products and systems.
  • Experience with PartnerPak estimating software for Kawneer.
  • College degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field preferred.

Benefits

  • Exposure to iconic and technically challenging building projects
  • Collaborative and highly skilled professional environment
  • Career development and advancement opportunities
  • Comprehensive training and mentorship from senior estimating professionals
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package
