Role Purpose:
Overall, the role of a host or hostess at Uptown Alley is vital to creating a positive first impression, managing guest flow, and facilitating an enjoyable dining experience for guests. Their responsibilities encompass various tasks aimed at ensuring efficient operations and exceptional customer service in the front-of-house.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Certifications in food safety and sanitation, such as ServSafe or Safe Food Handling
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Physical Stamina and Endurance-ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks in a hot and demanding kitchen environment

Experience:

  • Desirable - Previous experience in a high volume restaurant
