KPNX 12News, the TEGNA-owned NBC affiliate in Phoenix is seeking an innovative Producer to shape our daily newscasts. At 12News, we build creative shows that inform, inspire and empower our audiences. We prioritize breaking news, original storytelling and investigative journalism as key components of our newscasts to set ourselves apart in the Phoenix market. LIVING IN PHOENIX Phoenix is the country's fifth largest city and is a fast-moving and dynamic news market. As far as lifestyle, the Phoenix area is filled with beautiful nature, resorts, golf, hiking, home to major concert tours and professional sports teams. A short drive from the desert and you are in pine forests, red rocks, historic towns and mountains with winter skiing just a short drive away.

• Use your natural curiosity to pitch compelling stories.
• Combine live pictures, graphics, compelling video and emotional sound to create an engaging experience for our audience.
• Show off your creativity and storytelling skills
• Craft stories of all lengths on all platforms for specific audiences.
• Meet daily deadlines.
• Booth continuous coverage on our live streams for breaking news and community events.
• Allow the impactful and emotional conversations the community needs to drive the content in your rundown.
• Use data analytics to help shape the content of your show.
