Radiologic Technologist

Compensation : $130,00 - $140,000 per year

Job Type : Monday-Friday, outpatient only, on call rotation.

A well-established hospital system is currently seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join its team in Queens, NY.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Interpreting the order for the test to determine what body parts need imaging
  • Explaining the test to patients and positioning them to make the test possible
  • Setting the controls on X-ray equipment in preparation for imaging
  • Checking X-ray images and retaking them as needed to ensure clarity
  • Cleaning and performing routine maintenance tasks to keep X-ray equipment operating smoothly
  • Sending X-ray images to other medical providers for reading
  • Inventorying and stocking films and radiologic supplies
  • Updating patient records with pertinent information

    • Qualifications :

  • NYS ARRT (R) License & Registration
  • AHA Basic Life Support Certification
  • 1+ years experience as a Radiologic Technologist
