Job Description
The Radiation Therapist plays a critical role in providing high-quality care in a pediatric setting. The position will not require on-call hours or weekend shifts. The expected patient ratio is 1 RT to 20 patients.
Responsibilities
- Administer radiation therapy to patients
- Assist with intravascular and interstitial administration
- Ensure patient safety and comfort, including those in restraints
- Utilize advanced imaging techniques such as CBCT and kV / mV imaging
- Participate in simulation processes including CT simulation and motion management
- Handle emergency cases effectively
- Engage in patient and family teaching
- Support interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
