Job Title : Radiology Interventional Technologist
We are looking for a skilled Radiology Interventional Technologist to join our healthcare team in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures, working with advanced imaging equipment, and ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Location : Hospital Setting
Key Responsibilities :
Perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures, including angiograms, biopsies, and other minimally invasive procedures.
Operate and maintain imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy, X-ray, and other radiological devices.
Assist physicians during procedures, ensuring proper positioning and optimal imaging results.
Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and addressing any concerns.
Monitor patients during procedures, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Ensure all radiology images and reports are accurately documented and maintained.
Follow all safety and infection control protocols, including the proper use of radiation protection.
Collaborate with other healthcare team members, including radiologists, nurses, and physicians, to provide high-quality care.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Experience in interventional radiology procedures preferred.
Strong knowledge of radiology equipment, radiation safety, and imaging techniques.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Type : full-time contract employment 13-14 weeks with possibility to extend.
