Regional Sales Manager - Outside Sales

We offer the most comprehensive range of rotary table styles and sizes from a single source. Our products are implemented in manufacturing processes such as indexing or positioning axes for metal cutting and machining, as well as for automation applications.

Position Summary : We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Manager to oversee customer relationships and drive sales results within the geographic region of Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, and Canada. Reporting directly to the company owner, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee and drive sales within the designated geographic region.
  • Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and assess the quality of the company's relationship with them.
  • Identify prospects and establish contact with customers to perform sales demonstrations.
  • Provide requests for quotes, review proposals with customers, and follow up on active projects and potential opportunities to secure and close sales.
  • Document customer interactions and maintain data related to sales activities, accounts, and centers of influence (COIs).
  • Develop and implement field sales action plans to facilitate regional and key customer sales programs.
  • Maintain sales volume by tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as industry indicators and competition.
  • Keep up to date with developments, trends, and advancements related to sales and marketing.
  • Attend industry trade shows, identify potential sales leads, and make meaningful contact with existing customers.
  • Attend conferences and training at the factory in Germany and its subsidiaries as needed.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in arts, business, engineering, or a related technical college degree. Courses in sales are a plus. 5-10 years of experience in industrial sales. Experience in machine components is a plus.
  • Ability to travel.

    • The salary range is $60k to $100k and will be based on sales experience and knowledge our industry and the sales region.
