We are seeking a  Registered Behavior Technician  to join our team at our  School the   Merakey Education Center in Fort Worth, TX.

Position Details

As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will work one on one in our school setting, where you will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of autistic / emotional support students who are all unique and amazing! Following each child’s Individual Education Plan (IEP) and Positive Behavior Support Plan (PBSP), you will help the student achieve their academic and behavioral goals. Your dedication and empathy will help our students learn in a trauma-informed environment. In this role, you will be part of a team where you can have fun and be an integral part of our students’ development.

Hourly Rate : $20-23

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications :

  • Applicants must hold a Registered Behavior Technician certification
  • Direct experience providing ABA services in a classroom or school environment is highly preferred.
  • Completed Associates or bachelor's degree (or degree in process) highly preferred Degree programs of choice include Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Education, Human Services, Social Work, Special Education, Early Childhood, etc.
  • Minimum of a high school degree is required.
  • Maintain your RBT certification by tracking supervision hours and renewing your certification on an annual basis.
  • Must be willing and able to pass a thorough background check including education / licensure / employment verification, child abuse clearance, physical / TB, and a state and federal criminal background check.
  • Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to receive detailed information through oral and written communication.
