Our client, a leading dental healthcare provider, is seeking a Dental Assistant-IV Sedation to join their team. As a Dental Assistant, you will be part of the Oral Center supporting dental residents and students. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Dental Assistant-IV Sedation

Pay $25-32hr

Duration 3 + extensions

Location NY, NY 10010

• Start Date : As soon as possible- once medically cleared.

What's the Job?

Assist oral surgeons and dental residents during surgical procedures, including IV sedation administration and patient monitoring

Perform tests, prepare dental castings, and dispense medications and instructions to patients

Support minor dental and surgical procedures while ensuring safety and proper handling of chemicals and hazardous materials

Operate standard office and dental equipment efficiently and accurately

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols

What's Needed?

Minimum of 2 years of related experience, particularly with IV sedation and oral surgery

Graduate of a Dental Assistant Training Program

Knowledge of four-handed chairside dental techniques and dental lab equipment

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to operate standard office and dental equipment confidently
