Position Overview
Essential Job Duties
The NCSU Investigative Dermatology Residency Program is intended to provide advanced clinical and scientific training in veterinary and comparative dermatology. The program length is three years.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- The resident will be involved in the receiving and care of companion animals with skin diseases as part of NC State's Veterinary Health Complex Dermatology Service.
- When in clinics, the resident will supervise senior veterinary students enrolled in the dermatology rotation and lead weekly rounds with them.
- The resident will be required to attend clinical and histopathological rounds as a part of his / her training and complete at least one research project that will be published in a peer-reviewed journal.
Other Work / Responsibilities
Other duties as assigned by faculty advisor.
