Key Responsibilities

Develop strategic initiatives to improve billing outcomes and productivity

Handle complex issues related to insurance accounts, including appeals and denials

Ensure timely follow-up on denials and underpayments, maintaining accurate billing rules

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

High school graduate or GED certification

Experience in healthcare insurance collecting and knowledge of medical billing processes

Familiarity with surgical claims and denials

Proficient in computers and Windows-driven software (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)

Experience working in an Ancillary / Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) is preferred
