Job Summary

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $84.78 - $109.85 hourly. Responsibilities

Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams; carries out established nursing procedures and performs related duties as required; performs nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision. Assists with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team.

Required Qualifications

• Possession of the legal requirements to practice as a Registered Nurse as determined by the California Board of Registered Nursing and knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.
• 2+ years RN clinical experience in Emergency Department setting.
• This position requires flexibility to orient and work at UCSF Saint Francis Hospital and St Marys Emergency Departments.
• Current RN ED experience.
