Office Manager – Construction

A locally owned and highly respected commercial construction subcontractor has partnered with Aspen Personnel Service to recruit an experienced, friendly, and efficient Office Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable company and step into a well-established role as a valued long-term employee prepares for retirement.

Duties & Responsibilities

Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Process Certified Payroll
Perform a variety of HR functions, including benefits administration and timecard management
Oversee fleet management, ensuring company vehicles are licensed, insured, and properly maintained
Perform job costing and assist with project financial tracking
Reconcile company credit card statements
Manage company cell phone plans and related accounts
Coordinate company parties, employee appreciation events, and team activities
Provide administrative support to various departments and assist with special projects as needed

Skills & Experience

8+ years of experience in a similar Office Manager role within the construction industry required
5+ years of experience using QuickBooks
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and wear many hats
Willingness to cross-train and support other areas of the business
Positive, hardworking, team-oriented attitude
Professional, approachable, and able to thrive in a collaborative environment
Experience coordinating employee events and company functions preferred

Full Time:

Monday–Thursday or Monday–Friday schedule available
Flexible work hours
Onsite position (remote work is not available)

Compensation

$30.00–$36.00 per hour DOE
