Due to continued growth and expansion into the market, we are currently accepting applications for Local Truck Driver CDL A Route Delivery Drivers to work in our distribution warehouse within 30 miles of Nashville, TN. Compensation - Average annual salary range is $80,000 to $90,000 per year which includes: * Hourly wage of $28.00 per hour * Overtime paid after 40 hours per week * Typical work week is 40-50 hours per week * Safety shoes required; $250 vouchers provided per year. * Weekly paychecks Benefits - Eligible 1st of the month following 60 day probation period * Medical, Dental, Vision, and Voluntary Life * PTO (Personal and Vacation Days) * Paid Holidays * Career advancement opportunities Work Schedule * Sunday-Friday, off Saturday and one other day per week * Start times vary, typically 7pm-10pm; work until work is completed, usually 10-12 hours per day * No layovers, home every day * Make 4-5 stops per day; routes in TN, MS, KY * Work Schedule may change as business needs change; must be flexible with work schedule Responsibilities * Fingerprint 400-900 cases per day, highly physical, touch freight. * Some deliveries require going up and down stairs. * Work in refrigerated environments inside and outdoor elements, year-round. * Secure loads using load straps before and after every stop. * Route delivery, driver unload, lift-gate, pallet jack, curve ramp, and 2-wheel hand cart * Touch freight, case delivery of food-grade products to Chipotle restaurants * Drive CDL A day cabs with 36'- 42' pup trailers to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations * Secure pallets using straps. Strap and unstrap at each delivery. * Document pre-trip and post-trip inspections * Manage hours of service (HOS) and ensure DOT compliance * Use of keys, alarm codes, tablets, etc. for overnight deliveries * Provide excellent customer service * Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle * Reporting maintenance/repair issues on tractors and trailers Requirements * Must be a minimum of 21 years old. * Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver´s License, with air brakes endorsement. * Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug and criminal background screen. * Local, multiple-stop delivery experience to restaurants using hand-cart, ramp, and/or pallet jack is preferred. * Must have a minimum of 3 months experience driving tractor-trailer, school not included. * Familiar with Samsara systems a plus but will train * Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses * Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors * Legally eligible to work in the U.S. * Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English * Must pass pre-hire drug screen and physical * Be able to lift, push, pull 65 pounds with no assistance
