The Account Manager provides day-to-day customer service and operational support to underwriters while acting as a key liaison between IAT, agents, and brokers. This role supports the servicing and retention of accounts by assisting with policy processing, endorsements, renewals, and general account maintenance, ensuring accuracy, responsiveness, and a positive agent experience. The position works closely with underwriting partners to help meet business objectives while maintaining high service standards across the portfolio./ppThis role works a hybrid schedule that requires working from the office Monday through Wednesday, with the option of working Thursday and Friday remotely./ppResponsibilities:/pulliEnter new and renewal business into proprietary rating systems./liliPrepare account service documentation, client communications, and correspondence to support underwriting and agent relationships./liliProcess renewals by reviewing policy details for accuracy and implementing requested changes./liliHandle endorsements and audit transactions through coordination with agents and underwriters./liliManage non-renewals and cancellations in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements./liliReview company correspondence to ensure relevance, accuracy, and alignment with client needs./liliMaintain bond and account files in compliance with established documentation and record-keeping standards./liliBuild working relationships with underwriters and agent partners./liliRespond to and process internal information requests./liliPrepares, submits and tests IT programming requests./liliPrepare and audit various monthly operational and performance reports./liliContinuously develop professional skills through ongoing education and by staying current with industry trends and standards./liliAssist with the training and support of other team members./liliPerform other duties as needed./li/ulpQualifications:/ppMust-Have:/pulliHigh School Diploma or Equivalent./liliTo qualify, applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require VISA sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment purposes./liliBasic accounting experience./liliKnowledge of underwriting support processes and procedures./liliCustomer-service-focused approach with a commitment to supporting underwriting partners and agent needs./liliProficiency with personal computers and data-entry functions, with the ability to learn new systems./liliEffective written and verbal communication skills for professional interaction with internal teams and external partners./liliDemonstrated critical-thinking and problem-solving skills./liliAbility to follow established procedures, guidelines, and workflows./liliWillingness and ability to learn new processes, systems, and insurance concepts./li/ulpPreferred to Have:/pulliBachelors degree./lili2+ years of relevant professional experience./lili3+ years of underwriting support experience./liliFamiliarity with basic mathematics and analytical techniques./li/ulpCompensation:/ppPlease note, that the annual gross salary range associated with this posting is $35,730 $77,670.
