Insurance Sales Agent

AAA The Auto Club Group | Full ? time | W ? 2 | Base Pay + Incentives + Full Benefits

$5,000 Ramp-up Compensation Support until June 30 EFFECTIVE 5 / 2 6/26 **To qualify applicants must be new to ACG (not applied in the last 180 days.) There is a 1-year payback clause if your employment is terminated prior to completing 12 months of employment. Additional details can be provided by our Recruiting Team at the time of application**

This is a relationship driven sales role with long-term income potential through commission and renewals.

Deeper Dive into Pay & Incentives

  • Base pay plus performance ? based incentives, allowing high performers to significantly increase overall earnings.
  • Average annual earnings range: $57,000$87,000+, based on performance and sales results.
  • Supplemental ramp ? up pay, paid monthly, to support productivity during the first six months:
    • Additional $200 per week during months 02
    • Additional $150 per week during months 34
    • Additional $100 per week during months 56
  • Elevated incentive payout structure during the first 15 months to accelerate early earnings.
  • New Hire On ? Pace Bonus tied to performance milestones.
  • Non ? exempt position with eligibility for overtime pay.

What You'll Do

  • Own the sale and ongoing service of ACG?branded and brokered insurance products, memberships, and financial products within a high?traffic ACG branch.
  • Leverage proven sales methodologies and insurance expertise to uncover customer needs, generate new business, retain existing clients, and grow ACG's insurance portfolio.
  • Consistently overcome objections, negotiate effectively, and close sales while maintaining long?term client relationships.
  • Drive performance by meeting and exceeding individual sales targets and incentive plan expectations aligned with branch and company goals.
  • Conduct comprehensive insurance reviews to assess risk, identify coverage gaps, and recommend appropriate solutions; quote, bind, and issue policies in accordance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Actively engage in local branch and community events to prospect, expand referral networks, and develop new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong rapport with members and clients to ensure high customer satisfaction, loyalty, and trust in the AAA brand.
  • Respond to customer inquiries with a high level of professionalism and urgency across insurance, membership, and financial products.
  • Identify and execute cross?sell and referral opportunities into Travel and Financial Services lines of business to maximize overall member value.

Who Succeeds in This Role

Required Qualifications:

  • Active State Property & Casualty Insurance Sales license
  • Active State Life and Health Insurance Sales license, or obtain within 90 days of hire
  • Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments required for selling and/or servicing Auto Club Group Membership products.
  • Obtain Health and Accident licenses and appointments where applicable as deemed necessary and within a time frame established by the Business Unit.

Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent

Work experience

  • 1+ year(s) of customer-facing experience in a fast-paced computer automated business environment (i.e., financial/banking)
  • Insurance experience is helpfulbut not required.
  • We provide training to help you get licensed and confident in the role

  • Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and close sales opportunities, including disciplined lead tracking, follow?up, and pipeline management.
  • Apply consultative selling techniques supported by deep product knowledge to deliver tailored solutions and drive customer value.
  • Proven prospecting and business?development skills, including generating new opportunities through referrals, outbound activity, and networking.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer?first mindset and confidence in guiding sales conversations.
  • Results?driven with clear ambition, motivation, and accountability for achieving and exceeding performance goals.
  • Proficient in leveraging technology to support sales execution, including CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong listening and discovery skills with the ability to quickly assess customer needs, identify coverage gaps, and recommend appropriate solutions.

Work Schedule & Environment

  • Work in a temperature?controlled AAA branch location
  • Ability to work varied hours, including possible weekends
  • Occasional travel to branch or community events
