Superior Fence & Rail of Ventura County & Santa Clarita Valley is a fence industry leader that is currently seeking an experienced Fence Sales Consultant for immediate hire. This is a 100% commission opportunity in which compensation is determined solely by the success of the individual Sales Consultant. No cold calling - leads are supplied through partnerships with a national home improvement chain and multiple home builders and general contractors. Massive sales advantage on competitors.
Paid training for 6 weeks. Pay ranges from ~$54,000 to ~$140,000 per year. Tablet provided after the training period is completed. Gas card provided between 30-90 days after the training period has been completed. The territory for this position is Ventura County & Santa Clarita Valley and the surrounding area; so the candidate needs to live in this area.
Job Responsibilities
Learn and adopt Superior Fence & Rail's structured selling process and complete required training
Present and sell the features and benefits of Superior Fence & Rail products
Continually prospect for new customers through networking, referrals, and effective follow-up
Set and maintain the required number of appointments to meet / exceed sales goals
Pursue appointments and sales through supplied, active lead system
Prospect for new customers through networking, referrals, and effective follow-up
Answer customer inquiries quickly and professionally
Work with install teams to understand, explain, and analyze the customer’s needs
Perform basic record keeping and data entry to track sales and client requests
Interact with customers and colleagues in a pleasant and friendly manner
Minimum Requirements :
3 - 5 years of prior outside sales experience
2 - 3 years of In-Home sales experience (preferred)
College degree in a related field (preferred)
Ability to work some weekends and evenings
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Strong presentation and listening skills
Ability to treat others with respect and gain trust from subordinates and supervisors
Exceedingly positive in his / her work attitude
Basic computer skills and proficiency (preferably with Google G-Suite)
Valid DL, clean driving record and reliable transportation
