Faulkner University is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Student Activities Coordinator for the Student Services department. The selected individual will supervise, plan and coordinate activities designed for our students; supervise and manage student organizations ensuring sustainability and dynamic experiences for students, members and advisors; oversee the day-to-day operations and care of Tine W. Davis Gym / Student Multiplex; and coordinate the Intramural Sports Program. Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ.

This is a full-time (40+ hours per week) position. Frequent evening and weekend hours as required.

Summary of Duties :

• Supervise student personnel of the Student Activities department
• Oversee and manage the process of approving student-related activities on and off campus
• Supervise all activities of the Student Activities department, Intramural Sports Program, gym and student multiplex
• Participate in planning efforts for a campus-wide leadership development conference for all student leaders
• Supervise and mentor all social club processes
• Serve as advisor of the social clubs and the Interclub Council
• Administer the policies and procedures of the university and facilities use policies
• Coordinate activities and events related to Homecoming and university social club events
• Provide fiscal budget controls for department
