The Sales Director is responsible for driving MRO revenue growth, account development, leading customer engagement for assigned accounts, and leading all sales activities for the respective FCAH business unit. This role is focused on building strong relationships with customers, driving commercial growth across the business unit, and meeting sales targets. The position requires a proactive, analytical, and customer-focused approach with a strong understanding of the MRO aftermarket.
Essential Job Functions :
- Lead and manage all inside and outside sales activities for the respective FCAH business unit
- Proactively identify, seek out, develop, and grow new and underperforming customer accounts with a focus on immediate revenue growth with an actionable long-term plan to sustain said growth
- Manage the full sales cycle (Plan, Prospect, Develop, Proposal, Overcome Objections, Negotiate, Close)
- Serve as the primary voice of the customer (VOC)—collecting feedback, identifying service gaps, and communicating actionable insights to Operations, Quality, and leadership
- Establish and enforce structured escalation channels for customer concerns, ensuring resolution paths are consistent, timely, and well-documented
- Collaborate with customer service and operations departments to address any issues related to service delivery
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, managing inquiries, negotiations, and contract renewals
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt sales strategies accordingly
- Assist with responding to customer RFQs, proposals, and service information in a professional and timely manner
- Develop and report on KPI metrics including sales growth, pipeline status, customer satisfaction, and service performance
- Coach and mentor sales team on relationship management, customer responsiveness, and strategic account planning
- Partner with leadership, quality, and operations to ensure consistent alignment between customer commitments and operational execution. Ability to address customer inquiries, issues, and concerns effectively with some help
- Report on key performance metrics including sales growth, pipeline status, customer satisfaction, and service performance
- Effective management of sales pipeline CRM, always ensuring visibility and accuracy
- Oversee high-value accounts, high-stakes negotiations of complex deals, and identifying new business opportunities
- Forecasting revenue and sales performance, regularly maintaining a 3-month pipeline forecast
- Represent business unit at customer visits, industry events, and professional forums to promote brand reputation and business development opportunities
- Other duties as assigned
