Department Overview

Motorola Solutions Cybersecurity Services (MSI) seeks a motivated individual passionate about cybersecurity sales. With MSI's reputable brand and market presence in the public safety sector, you will play a key role in representing our Cybersecurity business line, which focuses on advisory and managed security services (SOC).

Job Description

As a Cybersecurity Sales Executive, your primary responsibility will be to sell Cybersecurity Services to a diverse range of customers. You will work closely with the field account team, acting as a subject matter expert (SME) and presenting effectively to Directors and C-level executives. Your focus will be on efficient time management and delivering superior customer service while consistently achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas consistently.
  • Provide insights on market penetration and performance for your designated region.
  • Understand client business objectives and develop tailored security solutions to meet their needs.
  • Prepare and present product capabilities to prospective and current clients, emphasizing key technical features, benefits, and use cases.
  • Collaborate with account teams to devise security solutions that secure future business and help meet individual quotas.
  • Identify new clients and lead initiatives to penetrate untapped accounts.
  • Represent the company at security conferences, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Act as a liaison by communicating essential client requirements and product enhancements to internal teams.
  • Be prepared to travel up to 50% of the time.

Specific Knowledge & Skills :

  • Strong understanding of Cybersecurity, Cloud, and SaaS technologies, along with knowledge of competitive market offerings.
  • Thorough knowledge of technical security solutions and their effectiveness in mitigating customer risk exposure.
  • Familiarity with service engagements that address customer risks, including maturity assessments and incident response services.
  • Ability to elevate customer discussions from immediate needs to broader, strategic considerations.
  • Excellent communication skills for explaining complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Proven experience in target account selling, solution selling, or consultative sales techniques.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities.
  • Aptitude for maintaining accurate sales forecasts and managing multiple projects efficiently.
  • Preferred Certifications :

  • Security+
  • Target Base Salary Range : $100,000 - $120,000 USD

    In accordance with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, pay within this range may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

    Basic Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of LMR or software sales or presales experience
  • OR 5+ years of LMR or software sales or presales experience
  • Travel Requirements : Over 50%
