We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee freight forwarding operations at our Charlotte, NC location. This on-site role is ideal for a logistics leader with a strong background in air, ocean, import / export, and domestic freight. You ll be responsible for team performance, service delivery, compliance, and process improvement within a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage day-to-day freight forwarding operations (air / ocean / import / export / domestic)
- Ensure regulatory compliance with TSA, FMC, CBP, and other governing bodies
- Monitor KPIs, manage costs, and optimize workflow efficiency
- Collaborate with internal departments, vendors, and clients to resolve issues and improve service levels
- Drive profitability through budget control and margin management
