Job type
  • Full-time
Job description

Whether you come from a background in graphic design, digital media, or UX/UI design, you can be successful in this role. We don’t require a particular degree, but we’re looking for translatable skills and relevant expertise. Specifically, we’ll be looking for the following qualifications:

  • 2+ years in a full-time graphic design role
  • Experience with UX/UI layout and prototyping software, such as Sketch, Figma or Adobe XD
  • Specialty in custom illustration, iconography, front-end web and/or email design
  • Proven mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud (Mainly Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)

About The Role:

As a Graphic Designer here, you’ll be part of a close-knit, creative team that works together to bring our brand to life—whether that’s through digital design, print materials, or full-blown campaigns. Your job? Dream up and deliver design work that looks great, feels on-brand, and connects with the people we’re trying to reach. You’ll help craft meaningful experiences that support Veterans on their journey to homeownership—and that’s work we’re proud of.

Here’s a snapshot of what you’d be doing:

  • Coming up with creative campaigns and bring them to life across both digital and print channels.
  • Working side-by-side with cross-functional teams to make sure your designs support larger marketing initiatives and target audience needs.
  • Partnering with analysts and squad leaders to stay in the loop on how campaigns are performing and using that info to tweak and improve your work.
  • Push creative boundaries while keeping things aligned with our brand guidelines.
  • Pitching in wherever needed (excluding licensed tasks) to help foster a supportive and collaborative team culture.

About You:

  • You’ve got great attention to detail—nothing slips past you.
  • You’re a great communicator—whether it’s writing or speaking, you know how to get your point across clearly and effectively.
  • You’re great at building strong, trusting relationships and love working with others to make great things happen. But you know how to work well independently if needed.
  • You’ve got a solid grasp on marketing—what works, why it matters, and how design can help drive it forward.
  • Giving and receiving feedback? You’re all about it—because better work comes from open conversations.
  • You know how to take a complex business challenge and turn it into clear, compelling visuals that make an impact.
  • You’ve led projects from start to finish and aren’t afraid to own your work.
  • You’re confident presenting your ideas and open to discussion around them.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and love working as part of a team.
  • Providing exceptional customer service is second nature to you, and you always put people first.
  • You’re great at staying organized, managing your time, and keeping tasks on track.
  • You’re comfortable with technology and can navigate basic computer systems with ease.

About Us:

We’re all about helping Veterans and military families become homeowners. In two short decades, we closed over 500,000 VA Loans and became the #1 VA lender for homebuyers in the nation. But to us, success isn’t measured in numbers. Our success is measured in living our every day: Be Passionate and Have Fun, Deliver Results with Integrity and Enhance Lives Every Day. We always strive to provide friendly service to military homebuyers and their families. And we always seek to lift up people and communities across the country.

We’re so glad you’re here checking out this opportunity! If this role gets you excited but you’re worried you don’t check every box – don't sweat it. We’re more interested in what you can bring to the team than a perfect checklist. If you’re passionate, driven, and ready to make a difference, we’d love to hear from you. Come as you are, and together we’ll create something amazing.
