Master Scheduler
The Master Scheduler is responsible for production scheduling, and planning functions. This role has regular interface with sales, operations, purchasing and engineering.
Plan, schedule and generate manufacturing orders and work schedules for the shop floor to achieve high on-time delivery, level loading of available labor, and to minimize WIP and finished goods inventory
Work closely with Production, Sales, Engineering and Purchasing to meet operational goals
Coordinate with Purchasing to maintain updated equipment dates and adjust production schedule as needed
Collaborate with chassis pool and sales to maintain updated chassis data
Provide input to management and/or interface with customers when rescheduling is required due to design changes, chassis delays, labor and material shortages, and other potential schedule interruptions
Utilize ERP software and scheduling programs that support production planning, capacity planning, and operational management
Maintain production planning systems and procedures with high data accuracy and integrity
Required Credentials Education: High School Diploma or GED; Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred
Experience: Three years of production planning experience
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and functions required
