Physical Therapy ReceptionistOrthopaedic Specialty Group currently has an opening for a Receptionist in our Physical Therapy Department. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Greet patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner. Arrives patients via computer system; verify patient information, current referral if applicable, and provides appropriate paperwork to patient. Collects applicable co-pay. Obtains benefit information and referrals/authorizations if necessaryBooks, cancels and reschedules patient appointmentsAnswers phones, transfers and/or directs calls during busy times. Acts as liaison between patient and other staff, including therapists, PTA, and physical therapy techs, etc...When applicable, relays phone messages from patients to Therapists. Keeps waiting room neat and presentable at all times. Maintains excellent communication with Physical Therapists and patients regarding wait times or delays. Maintain patient confidentiality. QualificationsMinimum of a high school diploma or GED.
