We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to join our team.
Job Summary:
As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our construction projects. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing the schedules of our construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers. Your excellent communication and organizational skills will be crucial in maintaining project timelines and ensuring client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and maintain project schedules using scheduling software
Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely completion of tasks and milestones
Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to schedule and confirm project timelines
Monitor and track project progress to identify any potential delays or issues
Collaborate with team members to adjust schedules and resolve conflicts
Maintain accurate records of project schedules and changes
Provide regular updates to project managers and clients regarding project timelines
Assist with the procurement of materials and equipment needed for projects
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in scheduling or project coordination in the construction industry
Proficient in using scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Knowledge of construction processes and terminology
Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in the construction industry
