Job Description:
Develops and oversees training and education programs for the Security Services Department. Manages daily operations of the Security Services Department, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, including use of force issues. Develops staffing, scheduling, and patrol patterns, and manages labor hours using VISIONWARE. Provides guidance and direction to officers regarding operational and information security. Addresses issues regarding service quickly and efficiently, anticipating and addressing the needs of customers. Builds and maintains relationships with local Police Departments, Homeland Security, and other area hospital Security Departments. Oversees personnel engaged in special assignments within the Security Services Department, including Lost & Found, Vehicle Maintenance, Haz-Mat Security Team, Field Training Program, Security Training Officer, Law Enforcement, and Intelligence Liaison Officers. Actively seeks and pursues opportunities to improve performance and service delivery. Communicates honestly and effectively with patients, customers, and co-workers, demonstrating a commitment to the highest ethical standards. Incorporates patient, physician, and customer needs and concerns into decision-making and organizational action. Provides conscientious commitment to assigned work, work schedule, honesty, teamwork, and assisting others to bring about positive outcomes. Maintains confidentiality of patient and business information, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Other duties as assigned.

Education:• Bachelor's [Preferred]
• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
Field of Study:• or Equivalent
Work Experience:• 5+ years of position-related experience [Required]
• Law Enforcement or Security Experience [Required]
