Job Description

As a Security Officer Security Clearance Reception Coordinator in Cherry Hill, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will greet visitors, manage access, monitor security-related systems, and communicate professionally with employees and guests. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a front desk within an aerospace and defense business location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor and access records.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and communication systems from a stationary post; report unusual activity or access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Support a professional lobby environment by providing directions, answering routine inquiries, and helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
