Job Summary :

The Senior Accountant prepares financial reports to track the organization's assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities.

Essential Functions :

• Perform general cost accounting and other related duties in the accounting department
• Prepare periodic (monthly) balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements
• Maintain the general ledger
• Perform account analysis and reconciliations for (but not limited to) petty cash, long-term liabilities, Op X, CAP X, fixed assets, CIP, short / long-term liability adjustments, interest income / expense, insurance accounting, and prepaid accounts
• Perform payroll accounting including payroll entries, accruals, bonus and other compensation monthly entries and accruals
• Perform Right of Use and Lease Accounting
• Account for depreciation and amortization
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes including journal entries and account analysis for invoice accruals, debt accounting, and intangibles
• Provide financial statement, audit, and other support as needed
• Perform other related duties as assigned
