STS Technical Services is hiring an Electrical Buyer / Purchaser in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Position Summary We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Buyer / Purchaser to join our growing Purchasing Team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and negotiating services, materials, and supplies that meet company standards. You’ll work closely with engineering, production, and vendors to ensure quality, accuracy, and on-time delivery of critical components that keep operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships Research and evaluate current and potential new vendors Analyze market trends to ensure competitive pricing Review and verify special order item accuracy per engineering drawings Monitor critical path items and make necessary adjustments to maintain timelines Verify that incoming products meet company standards and specifications Ensure stock data and Bill of Lading (BOL) accuracy Qualifications Strong negotiation, decision-making, and organizational skills Working knowledge of purchasing-related duties and responsibilities Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Preferred Qualifications Experience working with Pareto Charts Six Sigma Black Belt Certification Experience using ERP systems (Epicor preferred) Prior purchasing experience in a manufacturing organization Electrical background or familiarity with electrical components preferred What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with company match Paid holidays and PTO Career growth and professional development opportunities About STS Technical Services STS Technical Services is the staffing arm of STS Aviation Group.
