Job Title
Buyer Procurement & Sourcing + Review material needs and identify sources of supply. + Manage supplier performance and coordinate with internal customers. + Seek and develop minority suppliers. Purchase Order Management + Process purchase requisitions : research products, clarify specs, document bids, follow up on back orders, and expedite deliveries. + Prepare and analyze vendor quotes; collaborate with business units for vendor selection. + Negotiate and assign purchase orders and blanket purchase agreements. Reporting & Documentation + Prepare monthly status reports on major purchase agreements and procurement activities. + Maintain and verify procurement-related documents : bid sheets, freight charges, item costs, discounts, invoices, and failure reports. Systems & Tools + Support Maximo Work Orders and ERP reporting for contingent worker support. + Understand Service PO guidelines for field operations. + Participate in Management of Change (MOC) processes related to supply chain duties. Skills & Experience + Experience in storeroom operations, project / material / inventory management. + Proficiency in Excel, Word, Access, SAP, Oracle. + Strong math and algebra skills. + Effective communication, negotiation, and collaboration abilities.
