Job Title : Copywriter Casino & Gaming Marketing

Job Summary :

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Copywriter to support marketing initiatives within the Casino & Gaming department of a leading cruise line. This role is responsible for developing compelling on-brand copy that promotes casino programs gaming experiences and offers to drive guest engagement and revenue. The ideal candidate understands how messaging supports different stages of the customer journey and can translate complex promotions and concepts into clear engaging content. A passion for travel entertainment and gaming along with the ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines is essential.

Key Responsibilities :

Write persuasive copy for digital marketing channels including emails e-flyers social media posts and video scripts with strong subject lines and calls-to-action that drive engagement and participation.

Develop copy for casino-focused print materials such as direct mail advertisements and brochures in collaboration with designers.

Create onboard casino and gaming content including digital signage terminal signage and collateral ensuring clarity accuracy and alignment with brand voice.

Support casino promotions loyalty programs special events and limited-time gaming offers through targeted audience-driven messaging.

Brainstorm creative concepts for ad hoc projects such as special casino campaigns themed promotions holiday and birthday communications and venue or event naming.

Review and proofread casino and gaming marketing materials prior to release including first and second round proofs to ensure accuracy compliance and quality.

Apply creative problem-solving to find innovative ways to tell the casino and gaming story while supporting business objectives.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Impact of the Role

This role plays a critical part in shaping how guests perceive the cruise lines casino and gaming experience. The Copywriter directly influences guest engagement participation and brand perception through tone of voice storytelling and promotional messaging.

Qualifications :

5 years of experience in a high-volume fast-paced creative or marketing environment.

Experience writing promotional or direct-response copy; gaming hospitality entertainment or travel industry experience strongly preferred.

Strong understanding of creative agency practices and creative / production workflow processes.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting tight deadlines.

Excellent written communication interpersonal and collaboration skills.

Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading abilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.

Demonstrated ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Teams Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience with project management and proofing tools; Asana and Workfront experience required.
