Senior data analyst [h1.location_city]

The Cost Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating cost data to help Molex's ADS Division optimize expenses, improve budgeting accuracy, and support strategic financial decisions.

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to cross-functional teams.

What You Will Do

• Collect, analyze, and interpret cost data related to production, operations, and projects.
• Prepare detailed cost reports and forecasts to support budgeting and financial planning.
• Identify cost variances and provide actionable recommendations to management.
• Collaborate with finance, procurement, and operations teams to gather relevant data and ensure cost control.
• Support the maintenance and regular updating of standard costs, ensuring they reflect current market prices, production efficiencies, and operational changes to maintain accurate budgeting and variance analysis.

This includes the review of purchase price variances as well as manufacturing variances.
