[job_card.job_description]BS in Electrical Engineering . 15+ years of work experience in electrical engineering design. Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with NCEES accreditation . Expertise in MV (34.5 kV) power distribution systems ; general understanding of HV design. Strong background in conductors, conduits, and grounding per NEC requirements. Proficiency in load calculations, demand factors, fault current, and voltage drop calculations . Experience with AutoCAD and Revit required. Skilled in Arc Flash and Breaker Coordination Analysis . Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam . Mastery of NFPA codes and other model codes. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to develop practical, efficient solutions.
Job Description
Selectek is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the development of design solutions for complex building and infrastructure projects. This role requires a licensed engineer with deep technical expertise in medium-voltage (MV) and high-voltage (HV) power distribution systems, strong NEC knowledge, and proven leadership in coordinating across disciplines.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the development of design solutions and provide technical support to the design team.
- Prepare schematic designs, construction documents, and specifications in compliance with project requirements and building standards.
- Coordinate designs with other engineering disciplines, manufacturers, and vendors.
- Perform field surveys and site observations to verify design accuracy.
- Ensure completeness, accuracy, and interdisciplinary coordination of construction documents.
Qualifications :
Pay : $150,000 - $170,000
