The Financial Engineering team plays a crucial role in our mission to foster an open financial system for all. This team is responsible for all trading activities and products at Coinbase, managing transactions worth hundreds of billions of dollars annually. We are searching for a driven and entrepreneurial product manager who excels in fast-paced environments and has a strong background in leading financial products. You should be skilled at navigating ambiguity, solving complex challenges, and leading cross-functional teams to effectively launch innovative products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define a clear vision and strategic direction for the platforms that support Coinbase's financial operations.
• Collaborate with finance users to craft effective solutions for Accounting, Tax, Financial Reporting, Treasury, and FP&A functions.
• Develop robust and scalable solutions that maintain a high standard of financial data integrity.
• Prioritize the product roadmap based on customer value and apply metrics to guide product development.
• Conduct competitive research and data analysis to enhance decision-making, becoming an expert in financial and cryptocurrency products.
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept to post-launch evaluation.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in product management.
• A degree in Computer Science or relevant experience in Software Engineering.
• Expertise in financial products, including managing financial records and accounting processes.
• Experience in developing scalable solutions for fund transfers, customer balances, and portfolio performance tracking.
• Demonstrated ability to lead critical business systems in a fast-paced work environment.
• Proven capability to motivate diverse senior stakeholders including CFOs, Accounting teams, and Product & Engineering toward a unified vision.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with accounting terminology and financial application software (ERP systems, accounting platforms, budgeting tools, etc.).

Pay Transparency Notice: The target annual base salary for this position varies by location and ranges between $207,485 and $244,100 USD. Full-time offers from Coinbase include eligibility for bonuses, equity, and comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)).
