At STAR, we specialize in the design, production & execution of custom brand experiences for our

clients. Our work encompasses Trade Show Exhibits, Retail Experiences, Branded Interiors & Events.

The STAR Creative group is currently adding a full-time (exempt) Senior Experiential Designer to our

team. In this role, designers will create immersive and engaging brand experiences that captivate

audiences, leave a lasting impression, and meet client objectives.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to :

Creative Concept Development and Project Leadership

Working independently, collaboratively or under direction : generate innovative, engaging and

highly functional design concepts for experiences that align with client objectives, budget and target

audience

Develop compelling renderings / visuals and presentation materials to effectively communicate

concepts to internal and external customers.

Collaborate closely with other departments within the company, such as sales, marketing,

engineering, and operations, to ensure alignment and coordination in delivering a seamless

customer experience and outstanding product

Provide direction to team members or freelance resources as needed to complete assigned work

Create detailed design specifications for estimating and production

Research customers brands, products, audience, competitors etc to better understand project

context.

Research & source props, materials, objects, and promotional materials for projects.

Research & source stock photography

Client Relationships and Business Development

Participate in or lead key client meetings, pitches, and presentations, helping to showcase the

agency's capabilities and building trust and rapport with clients

Conduct project-level discovery independently or under the guidance of a CD

Understand our clients needs, translating them into creative solutions and presenting those

solutions effectively; connect goals with proposed strategy / tactics and intended outcomes

Seek opportunities to develop relationships with project stakeholders

The ideal candidate for this job will possess strong collaboration, organization & time management

skills; along with a commitment to exceeding client expectations, fanatical attention to detail, and an

exceptional ability to manage assigned tasks & timelines.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors Degree in Experiential, Environmental or Industrial or related Design field.
• Successful work experience in events, tradeshow, retail, interiors or related design field

is desirable but not required
