Your Impact at SAM
The Survey Project Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing multiple land survey projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Serving as the primary liaison between SAM and our clients, this role blends technical expertise with strong leadership, operational management, and business development skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage land survey projects from initiation through completion, ensuring all deliverables meet company standards and client requirements.
- Prepare and manage project proposals, budgets, schedules, contracts, and billings to ensure overall project success
- Monitor and report on project financials, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Work in Progress (WIP), and billing cycles.
- Establish work plans, determine staffing needs, and allocate resources across multiple concurrent projects
- Provide technical oversight, including signing and sealing plats, field notes, and control drawings as required.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication, presentations, and business development efforts
- Represent SAM at client meetings, industry events, and trade shows to support business growth
- Collaborate with sub-consultants, internal teams, and external partners to ensure seamless project execution
- Mentor and support staff through training, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities
- Contribute to broader company initiatives and support other operational teams as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned to help achieve company goals
