Position Summary
McKesson is hiring for a Network Systems Engineer who will be responsible forconfiguring, supporting, andmaintainingthe networkand related infrastructure. This role ensuresoptimalnetwork performance, security, and scalabilityfor a federally regulated environment.
The position collaborates with cross-functionalpillarsandinternal business partnersto ensure that the network meets all regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
-Configure andmaintainnetwork hardware and software.
- Monitor network performance andtroubleshootconnectivity issues.
-Upgrade network infrastructure to meetstrict vulnerability management requirements.
-Documentstandard operating procedures for network maintenance.
-Implement securitystandardsto safeguard systems.
- Research and recommend automated approaches for system administration tasks.
- Evaluate network systems to improve service delivery and efficiency.
-Supportcontinuousaudit readiness, evidence collection, and remediation planning.
- Interact with peer groups and management to ensure project completion.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in network administration.
-Proficiencyin TCP/IP, DNS,IPv6, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+ preferred.
-Experience in federally regulated environmentspreferred.
