• Use computer-aided drafting software such as Auto-Cad, Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center, or other similar software.
• Produce 3D Models for dirt and paving for highways, public roadways, subdivisions, commercial developments, airports, and municipal developments.
• Take-off quantities for dirt and paving.
• Produce cut/fill sheets.
• Ability to draft ALTA/NSPS Surveys, Boundary Surveys, Topographic Surveys, As-built Surveys.
• Have knowledge of flood plains, data collection, GPS surveying and State Plane Coordinate Systems.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, surveyors, design teams and clients.
• Make necessary drawing and model changes based on design revisions.

• ODOT experience is highly recommended.
• Knowledgeable in 3D models, take-offs, boundary surveys, ATLA/NSPS surveys and contouring.
• Knowledge of surveying aspects pertaining to highways developments, public roadways, subdivisions, commercial developments, airports, and municipal developments.
• Proficient in file management and record keeping.
• Proficient mathematical and computer skills.
• Proven experience as a CAD Drafter or similar role.
• Must be highly motivated, organized, and possess a strong positive worth ethic.
• A demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
• Highly detail oriented with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team environment.
• Education – High school diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience.
