Overview
Element has an opportunity for a Senior Fluids Enginee r to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team, the Senior Fluids Engineer performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision. The Senior Fluids Engineer positions must be proficient in a number of core business and technical skills including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures. The Senior Fluids Engineer is expected to prepare engineering drawings, BOM's and P&ID's, support with test stand builds, evaluate functionality and performance, and document and report testing results. This position involves support and direction on assembly of cryogenic and high-pressure systems, hydrogen system prototype testing.
Salary : $125,000 - $150,000 / yr DOE
Responsibilities
- Review and develop system P&ID and procedures from a customer Statement of Work
- Provide counsel to coworkers and customers requiring critical analysis of data
- Is able to oversee and guide problem solving of complicated technical challenges
- Select appropriate sensors and instrumentation to monitor and control process variables
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems for various cryogenic storage systems
- Conduct system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure reliability and accuracy
- Develop and maintain documentation, including system specifications, design documents, and user manuals
