This role will be responsible for maintaining and improving quality systems, supporting production and inspection activities, and ensuring compliance with aerospace standards and customer requirements. The ideal candidate has direct aerospace manufacturing experience, a strong engineering foundation, and hands-on exposure to composites and transparency materials. Key Responsibilities Support and maintain aerospace quality systems in compliance with AS9100 and customer requirements Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions (RCCA, 8D, CAPA) for nonconformances Partner with manufacturing and engineering to improve process capability and product quality Review and approve quality documentation including FAI, inspection plans, and work instructions Support internal and external audits (customer, regulatory, and third-party) Analyze quality data and implement continuous improvement initiatives Support supplier quality activities as needed, including evaluations and corrective actions Ensure compliance with all applicable aerospace, regulatory, and customer standards Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required) 3+ years of aerospace manufacturing quality engineering experience (required) Hands-on experience in a regulated aerospace environment (AS9100) Experience with composite materials strongly preferred Experience with transparency materials (acrylics, polycarbonate, canopies, windows) highly preferred Strong working knowledge of root cause analysis, corrective actions, and quality tools Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, and leadership Interested in hearing more?
