Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Data Scientist to join our team at Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE) supporting the Air Combat Command (ACC) . The Data Scientist will play a critical role in leveraging advanced data analytics machine learning and statistical modeling to support intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) operations. This position requires expertise in data science methodologies tools and technologies to design how data will be stored consume d integrated and managed by different units and digital systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement data science solutions to support ISR operations and decision-making processes.
• D etermine create and populate optimal data architectures structures and systems .
• Apply machine learning algorithms statistical modeling and predictive analytics to solve mission-critical challenges.
• Design and maintain data pipelines ensuring the efficient collection processing and storage of structured and unstructured data.
• Identify and address data quality issues ensuring the accuracy and reliability of analytical outputs.
• Stay current with emerging data science technologies tools and methodologies to enhance analytical capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with all security protocols classification guidelines and organizational policies.

Target Salary Range

$135000 - $216000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the individuals experience education knowledge skills and competencies as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position employees may be eligible for overtime shift differential and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
