Job Summary:
The Research Scientist will participate in the retinal organoid model development and design. Reagent preparation (i.e. expression vectors, cell lines, and validation). In vivo live cell imaging and functional assays of photoreceptor biology. Design and analysis of experiments. Preparation of presentations to lab members. Attendance of lab meetings, seminars, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
PhD (or equivalent) degree and three years of related experiance or an equivalent combination of education and experiance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated expertise in CNS vascular biology and barrier formation is preferred. Numerous high-quality, first-authored papers in the field is a must. Demonstrated ability to work with groups of investigators is a plus.

Varies depending upon experiments.
